The difference between “wanting” and “being”…

FullSizeRender-4

Wanting is a starting place. It’s a great starting place – knowing what you want is imperative. Sadly, for some, that’s where they stay most of time. “I want it but…” “I want to but…”. “But” kills the dreams and stops you from taking action towards what you want to be, have or do. Why? All the “buts” are fear and self doubt showing up in some way, shape or form.

Being is where it’s all happening. It’s where all the joy and fun reside. Operating from the space of your desire creates magic and momentum in the direction of your dreams. I came across this video a while ago of this adorable 3-years old girl dancing with her Mom on Ellen (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlpPsQaH2GQ). The dialogue (some part of it) between Ellen and Heaven goes like this:

Ellen: Do you think you want to be a dancer when you grow up?

Heaven: I AM a dancer!

Wisdom right there! We can all learn from this girl; she is operating from that state of being a dancer already. In order to actualize our dreams, we must transition from wanting to being and having. We must start doing what we want to be doing. Just start, one step at a time, just like in dancing, its one move at a time.

Take the next step, it will be worth it.
